SUPPORT THE NORTHBRIDGE FIRE DEPARTMENT AUXILIARY
In an effort to provide support to members of the Northbridge Fire Department, the Northbridge Fire Department Auxiliary was established in January 2019. We are a group of wives, husbands, and immediate family members of the Department’s firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs. Our goal is to provide aid and assistance during major incidents and organize community events to foster positive relationships between Northbridge residents and our first responders.
We will be hosting a fundraising event and invite all Northbridge residents to consider participating!
In partnership with Lane Portraits, the NFD Auxiliary will be hosting photography sittings on October 19th and 20th. Northbridge residents will receive a letter during the first two weeks of September with details to schedule your appointment. We will have a professional studio setup at the station and encourage all to join – pets included! This fundraiser has been well received in the past and allowed NFD to purchase the LUCAS chest compression device which has served as a lifesaving tool on the ambulance. With the proceeds from this fundraiser, we plan to purchase training tools and water rescue equipment to provide additional safety measures for our first responders and members of the community. All remaining proceeds will be used to provide general support for NFD in addition to organizing community events.
